Creature Form

Path: 1 x Power

Growl is a slimy, four-legged, bouncy little creature with a springy curl on his head and a wagging tail on his bottom. He moves quite slowly and attacks with big chomping jaws and sharp teeth. He can latch onto other creatures and stop them from moving with his surprising weight.

Special Ability: Chomp - Growl bites down hard on an enemy, slowing or halting their movement for a while. Growl can't move or attack while he's chomping.

Gameplay notes

Growl is mostly a transition to his more powerful final form, Grumble. His 'Chomp' ability, however, makes him very useful in large battles as he can potentially cripple opponents, leaving them open to attack.

Generally, Growl walks slowly and can't attack fast. He does decent damage and has quite a lot of bulk, as such players will generally want to use him for front on attacks. Attempting to steal an egg using Growl is possible but ill-advised due to his slowness.

Animation

Emerge

Mouth opens quickly twice and barks.

Idle

Growl bobs up and down, his curl bobbing with him. His tail wags.

Walk

Growl's tiny legs work hard to pull him across the ground. He has no joints in his legs so they do not bend. His tail sways from side to side as he walks, but not as much as when he's idle.

Eat

Growl opens his mouth somewhat slowly then clamps it down. Afterward his mouth contorts as he chews.

Attack

Similar to the eat animation, only with no chewing, much more force and coupled with a comical, metal 'chink' sound.

Ability

Growl's mouth opens extra wide, as though his jaw has unhinged, waits for a moment while it builds power, then quickly slams down again. This move is couple with growling noises.

Death

Growl opens his mouth as though he's about to attack, only he falls over sideways half way through and his legs flop down as he lays on the ground.
